For many years we have been a secret ally to many of the great commercial architects, design studios and experiential events agencies. Working closely together to produce unique projects and experiences for brands, business’s and venues with our innovative use of intelligent lighting design and engineering expertise.
For nearly 25 years we’ve been creating engaging projects at varying scales from as far away places as the Ice Hotel in Arctic Sweden to the Nervada desert in the USA. A proven track record combining creative and production support managing teams both in the Uk and with local talent and suppliers.

A time activated lighting installation at Lacon House, London for award winning commercial art consultancy Acrylicize.
As part of our on going work with Acrylicize over the last 10 years we worked in house alongside the creative team to design two installations for a new large entrance foyer.
It comprises of hundreds of lit frosted balls strung between brass rods which were programmed to a 5 minute time sequence, The larger one on the left ( from road side view ) being programmed to reveal a giant sphere which was to represent the sun and then as the sun fades out the random spheres appear representing the stars and then finally the moon in the space on the right comes into form.
The Spiral: A Custom Light Sculpture for Urban Splash
The objective of this project was to enhance the entrance area by creating an engaging and visually impactful display. The design was inspired by the architectural form of the spiral staircase, using its dynamic structure as the foundation for the new installation.
This project, commissioned by Artistic Statements, showcases the integration of architectural design and advanced technology.

This lighting sculpture was designed for the 1st Greenwich Harbour symposium in Connecticut, New York state, representing the continued cycles of life and death.
Designed from 30 hexagonal forms in galvanised steel arrayed around a polar axis.
Waterproof LEDs run around the two horizontal hexagons to cast light up into the inner faces of the sculpture, reflecting off the inner surfaces and defining the beauty of the structure.
Designer Ben Rousseau is valued for his creativity as a lighting artist and experience with ice carving.
He was invited to join an international team of high profile global ice artists by Ice Hotel, to create a unique catwalk show for Chanel at their annual Fashion show inside the prestigious Grand Palais in Paris.
The show comprised of over 20 x 40 ft trucks of a special mix of snow and ice called ‘snice.’ Ben and the team spent two weeks in an elaborate giant refrigerated structure that was lowered in with cranes each day to build a giant iceberg catwalk, which sat in a very shallow pool of water for the models to walk around and in between.

Arts Co commissioned designer Ben Rousseau and Architect Ian Douglas-Jones to create a headline installation called “Wasted “for the world-renowned London Design Festival at the prestigious V&AMuseum.
It was designed to raise awareness on the amount of waste products being sent to landfill sites in the UK.
Using material that was being turned into luxury products by designers Elvis and Kresse, the two creatives engineered a structure representing strata in the ground as if the earth had been sliced open in hundreds of year’s time. It showed the layers of colored plastic and other materials that had been deposited in landfill.
Ben Rousseau worked with a team of over 70 artists to realize the vision of architect Alex Haw at Burning Man.
Ben helped lead the construction in Reno, Nevada at the generator warehouse, then oversaw the packing up and delivery and build in the hostile heat and dusty environment of Black Rock City under a strict and complex build schedule and deadline.
An LED-lit viewing platform rose majestically from the infamous desert floor of Black Rock City, made from CNC cut plywood forms intricately assembled and lit using a complex RGB lighting system.

Hydro was designed as a back stage VIP experience at the launch of the new SSE stadium in Glasgow.
Hydro was built with a twitter activated request system so that when customers tweeted their song choice to the sculpture the lighting projections reacted with the water flow to create unique patterns and effects.
7m x 7m footprint at approx 3m high.
